Drink a glass of water when you first wake up and before breakfast. Because the human body is 70% water, proper hydration is essential. Fill your water bottle or have a jug with a glass on hand after breakfast to encourage you to drink throughout the day.
If you plan and prepare your lunch and evening meals ahead of time, you will always have a balanced, nutritious meal. This will save you from having to make a decision when you are tired and hungry.
Many people believe that getting up and exercising prepares them for the day. If this isn't for you, just get moving in the morning, even if it's just a quick walk around the block.
You can include your health priorities into your calendar by planning your day and arranging breaks, lunch, and a stroll. In my experience, if you're extremely busy, the day can fly by before you realise it.
